After 5-months of preparation in the second half of 2011, 70 funds were migrated on 31.12.2011 to Diamos F at the Luxembourgish fund administrator, NAVAXX S.A. The funds were transferred quickly into daily operation. The migration took place between NAVAXX and the European Fund Administration (EFA), who operate on the GP3 system. Among the funds migrated were 3 master funds, including 11 segment funds. All were successfully migrated and deactivated at EFA.

The migration was preceded by a testing phase where every fund was test migrated twice: the first, as functional test and the second, as a parallel run just preceding the live migration. The acarda migration and reconciliation application, amicon, was employed to parameterise all mappings and rules, as well as serving as the interfaces between systems. The tool permitted an automated migration and ensured the different phases of the migration were quickly accomplished. After the holdings and NAV balances were calculated, amicon was then able to rapidly generate reconciliation reports between systems, which presented the results in easy to understand Excel-sheets, so that within only 8 hours the responsible division at NAVAXX was able to approve the 70 migrated funds and released them for live operation.
